The history of DC Comics has had some fantastic superheroes of all kinds including many unsung African-American heroes that I read and cheered for. Here are a few of my favorites from the pages of Dc Comics from Tyroc of the LSH in the 60's, John Stewart in the 70, Black Lighting, Cyborg and Vixen in the 80's Cyborg. Cyborg: Graphic Novels
Cyborg
He is a superhero appearing in DC Comics. The character was Originally known as a member of the Teen Titans, Cyborg was established as a founding member of the Justice League in DC's 2011 reboot of its comic book titles and subsequently in the 2016 relaunch of its continuity. The character appears in the DC Extended Universe, where he is played by actor Ray Fisher. This adaptation of Cyborg had a cameo appearance in the 2016 film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and a main role in the 2017 film Justice League, and is set to appear in a standalone Cyborg film in 2020.

he is a superhero appearing in DC Comics. The character was created by writer Tony Isabella with artist Trevor Von Eeden, first appearing in Black Lightning #1 (April 1977) during the Bronze Age of Comic Books. While his origin story has been retconned several times, his current origin story states that he was born in the DC Universe a metahuman with superhuman abilities. Black Lightning is DC Comics' first African American superhero and the first black DC Comics hero to lead his own series.
