The world of Irwin Allen
His name is Irwin Allen and He is called "The Master of Disaster" with films like Towering Inferno and The Poseidon Adventure. Allen's flair for disaster could be seen on the small screen in classic sci-fi series "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea", "The Time Tunnel" and of course Irwin Allen's "Lost in space". Now over 50 years later all of these shows are considered classic sci-fi tv and we have them all at our World of Irwin Allen. Battlestar Galactica (or "BSG")
sci-fi films and television series, the first of which was produced in 1978. A series of book adaptations, original novels, comic books, and video games have also been based on the concept. All of the Battlestar Galactica productions share the same premise: A civilization of humans lives on planets in a distant part of the universe. "The Twelve Colonies” have been at war with a cybernetic race known as the "Cylons." The Cylons launch a sudden sneak attack on the Colonies, laying waste to the planets and devastating their populations. A few thousand survivors flee into space aboard any spacecraft they can reach, but of the entire Colonial Fleet, the Battlestar Galactica appears to be the only military ship to come through the attack. Her famed commander and crew take up the task of leading the ragtag fleet of survivors in search of a fabled refuge known as "Earth."

Power Rangers
is the long-running American children's television series adapted from the Japanese Super Sentai series. A Power Ranger is a fictional individual who "morphs" from an unpowered form into a powerful superhero, usually wearing a brightly colored battle suit made of spandex and featuring a helmet with an opaque visor. RoboCop
is a 1987 action movie directed by Paul Verhoeven. The film features Peter Weller, Nancy Allen, Dan O'Herlihy, Kurtwood Smith, and Ronny Cox. Set in a crime-ridden Detroit, Michigan in the near future, the film centers on a police officer that is brutally murdered and subsequently recreated as a superhuman cyborg known as a "RoboCop." The movie was a box office success, grossing $56 million in the United States. It has since spawned merchandise, 2 sequels, a television series, and a comic book adaptation. 2014 brings a remake of the 1987 movie and a reboot of the film series.

Flash Gordon
The science fiction comic strip originally drawn by Alex Raymond and first published on January 7,1934. It was created to compete with Buck Rogers. The strip followed the adventures of Flash and his companions, Dr. Hans Zarkov and Dale Arden. The story begins with Dr. Zarkov's invention of a rocket ship, in which the three of them make a journey to the planet Mongo, where they are stranded. Mongo is inhabited by a number of different cultures that have been falling one by one under the domination of the vicious tyrant Ming the Merciless. The Flash Gordon comic strip has been translated into a wide variety of media, including motion pictures, television,and animated series. The most recent version, a Flash Gordon TV series, aired on the U.S. Sci Fi Channel.

Planet of the Apes
is a 1968 science fiction film loosely based on the Planet of the Apes novel by Pierre Boulle. It stars Charlton Heston, Roddy McDowall, Kim Hunter, and veteran Shakespearean actor Maurice Evans. The movie was ground breaking for its make-up techniques by artist John Chambers, and the script was originally written by Rod Serling but had many rewrites before eventually being made. The movie was well received by critics and audiences, launching a film franchise that includes 4 sequels, a short-lived television show, an animated series, comic books, various merchandising, and eventually a remake in 2001.
